It was a beautiful place with gorgeous views!!

From the moment we walked in the view was unimaginable. We enjoyed hanging out with our family in a very private safe, comfortable environment with a beautiful lake view!!! First night enjoyed playing all of the games amazing especially Jenga, which had personalized questions that created lots of fun memories for us. We took our jet skis out to the island across from the house at the close by MARINA.. Derek was a very good host and very responsive gave great suggestions and recommendations. We actually met the owner on our way out and he was lovely and shared close by rentals that would accommodate more of us when we decide to return.

Derek’s house was very welcoming and a great place for a girls weekend away. The atmosphere was relaxed and the view was amazing. The kitchen was well suited to cooking and the space was amazing.

We had an amazing stay at the lake house. It is a great property. The best part is the property looked exactly like the pics!!! We will be back.

The house was perfect, Derek was so communicative, and the beds were comfortable! Getting down to be near the water on foot wasn't super easy, but we enjoyed the view from the back balcony.

Beautiful home. Great communication. Let the owner know of an issue with the TV the first night so he was aware. Great communication with that issue. Highly recommend.

We really enjoyed the say at Derek's house. The view was amazing, the house was clean, and he responded very quickly to each of our messages. It was an awesome stay and didn't want to leave. We stay at Lake Whitney from time to time and this has become our #1 favorite!

It was an absolute pleasure staying on this property. The views were amazing and the atmosphere was relaxing and peaceful. There’s plenty of space and very kid friendly my grandchildren absolutely enjoyed it as well. I will definitely stay here again. We w Came all the way from the DMV area to Texas and this was the perfect spot to greet family and have some quality family time in a very relaxing snd beautiful home. Derek was an amazing host and quickly responded to any of our needs and I think this will be our home away from home whenever we are in that area.

Gorgeous peaceful location. I enjoyed watching the sunrise over the lake every morning. We saw lots of birds and some deer. The house was clean and well furnished. Highly recommend and would love to go back sometime.

Very well maintained, quiet/peaceful, and very comfortable property - with Wonderful outlook over the lake. Very responsive Host, with great communications & information at all times. Super beds, very comfortable (NO humps or lumps) and lovely bedding, also plenty of throw blankets.

This was an amazing and beautiful place to stay!

We had a great time with our kids. No games/phones/tv. We got to finally spend quality time w our kids and enjoy the beauty of this house and its gorgeous view. Plenty of space for them to run around and have fun. They especially enjoyed the fire pit and got to do s’mores every night. Bbq grill was a plus and was used almost every night. Lake view was the best especially the sunrises I was able to wake up early for. Lake road access was right behind the house so very convenient. The beds were the best, great sleep. House had a lot of items from the kitchen to the bathrooms that I forgot to pack but was available so that was awesome. Definitely would book again in the future. Host was always available so that was a big plus. Thank you so much! I highly recommend this house.

Great family trip staying at this beautiful home on Lake Whitney. There were a couple of hiccups during the stay regarding check-in and broken appliances, but Derek was always very responsive and helpful. Some fabulous family memories were made around the campfire and overlooking the stunning lake. We'll be talking about this trip for a long time!

This lake house has absolutely beautiful unobstructed views of the lake. The home looks exactly as pictured, had everything we needed and more. Even though there are neighbors on one side of the property, it feels very secluded, private, and peaceful. We saw lots of beautiful birds and tons of deer, we had a great relaxing time.

What an amazing lake view !! This is a wonderful location for either two couples or a family. With two master bedrooms plus a third bedroom, this is a great location with flexibility. The kitchen with a huge island plus a lovely dining area give this property so many neat areas for eating, conversation, and games. Not to mention that amazing view - perfect for mornings with a cup of coffee. And, you are almost guaranteed to see deer...on every side of the house. We loved this property and the hosts were so lovely and responsive. Memories were made!!

You will not be making any unexpected trips to the store, because they have gone above and beyond to provide everything you may need and more. Don't think twice about booking. Our homeschool group mamas had an incredible stay! The thing that literally took our breath away was the view. We are all nature lovers and the large windows made the view of the lake the peace we all craved before starting another year of home educating. The beds were comfortable, the living room was comfortable for games. We brought our own games but was floored by the amount of games available. The kitchen was perfect and open so we all felt together at all times. The rooms and bathrooms were very large and well stocked. As crunchy moms, we were so happy with the soaps and body wash provided. The house was very close to the jumping cliffs. Everything is so well stocked that you’d be hard pressed to find something they didn’t have. Would love to bring my family here! Derek was very responsive to my texts, check out was a literal breeze. Grateful for this beautiful home and its hosts.

This was an absolutely BLISSFUL stay — from the peace of the lake and neighborhood, to how well accommodated the place was for young children, to the beauty of the household — we so look forward to coming again!! We enjoyed a peaceful, relaxing vacation with 3 generations of family. We all had our own sleeping spaces and did not feel cramped. The hosts provided necessities but also extras for all ages. The home was clean and inviting. If we decide to vacation in this area again, we will definitely book this home.

The house is great except for the shower pressure in the attached bathroom in the 2nd bedroom. It was very bad … needs to be fixed asap !

Such a beautiful home with great views of the lake. It’s a short drive or walk to the nearest lake access for tubing or fishing. Home had everything we needed. There is a family of deer that live near the home with lots of great sightings.

Beautiful views, peaceful location, stocked kitchen, close to a fun activity, responsive host.

Had a great getaway from Houston after the Hurricane knocked out our power. My kids loved the house so much they said they wanted to come back and spend more time.

The rooms have individual A/C units. Results in a great night of sleep. The living room windows don’t have blinders so the sun will warm it up a bit.

Great host. Had a few issues with WiFi and AC. Derek was proactive and took care of it immediately. Also great views. Lots of parking space if your bringing boats. Very close to free boat ramp.

A wonderful home with comfortable beds and great decor. The location was gorgeous and everything described. Communication with the host was excellent. They took extreme care of me made sure I had everything I needed. I cannot recommend this home or these host enough if you want to come stay in the lake Whitney area.

Overall 10/10 stay. Totally recommend. Derek is a wonderful host and this house was amazing! The place was clean, spacious, and looks just like the pictures. The view to the lake is great, we strongly recommend watching the sunrise there. There are some board games and card games at the house too which was really fun! The host responded quickly and had very clear instructions for check-in and check-out. He also provided us with some awesome recommendations of activities and places around the house, which were very helpful!

Stayed at the Lake Whitney house for a couple of nights. The house was perfect for our needs. Easy to access for several senior folks. Very comfortable beds and lots of amenities in bathrooms. Kitchen was fully stocked with everything you might need. Beautiful views of the lake. Enjoyed walking the road below the house around park area. Only thing we could have used was a couple extra days to enjoy!! Thank you for sharing your home.
