Great host and a great property! I had a friend group of 14 that stayed in this property and we felt right at home! It was very clean when we arrived!

Beautiful updates home with plenty of space and activities for the family.

⸻ We had a wonderful stay at Derek & Lauren’s home. The location is unbeatable—steps from the beach—and the golf cart was a huge plus for family rides along the shore. The house is spacious and comfortable, and having so much room made our trip easy and enjoyable. The owners were extremely communicative and helpful from start to finish, which gave us real peace of mind. A couple of small things came up during our visit, including some scheduled maintenance and an issue with the stove, but the owners were quick to respond and personally came out to address them. While the home wasn’t quite as pristine as the photos suggest, it still made a beautiful backdrop for our vacation, and we left with great memories.

This place accommodates large families and provides them a nice atmosphere to enjoy the beach and still have a lovely place to settle in at night after a long day at the beach! Then at night there is enough room to spread out and enjoy the family!

There was a few things that we unfortunately weren’t pleased with and a few inconveniences that were caused by conditions of the house but it was an overall good stay. I’d recommend updating your dishes though as most of them are old and scratched as well as making sure the cleaners are actually cleaning properly. We enjoyed the beach as well as the golf cart rental and would love to check out other properties that are hosted by Derek as I truly don’t think he was at fault for any of the issues we had during our stay.

This is a great place to stay for a family vacation! Lovely home with a great layout. There was enough space to gather together and then enough places to spread out and get sleep. Master downstairs has a huge closet which was perfect for us to put our pack n play in for the baby to sleep close enough to us but not too close where we kept each other awake. The kids loved the bunk room, air hockey, and all of the balconies with gorgeous views! The beach is a short walk away and the house is in a friendly/calm neighborhood. Host was very responsive and went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. Really glad we chose this house over all of the others! Our stay couldn’t have gone better.

What a beautiful home! The beach house sits on the third row back from the beach, but this does mean that you can see a little bit of the beach from the decks and you can hear the surf. This made the decks with a little bit of a covered portion and some in the sun a favorite place to hang out. We love Crystal Beach, and came prepared for combat with the mosquitos and found none at this house. The tidy neighborhood did not have areas of standing water and with a nice breeze going, we didn't think anything about bugs for the week. The house is modern, big and roomy, but still felt very comfortable. Light switches are everywhere... and they are each labeled! Derek and Lauren pay attention to the details. The beach is an easy walk away and is a nice location on the beach, but you will probably want to rent the house's nice 6 seater gas golf cart like we did. All of our family, 3 months to 80 years, agree that the house was 5 stars and would be on our list to visit again.

House was beautiful and big!! We had plenty of space for 13 people and could’ve accommodated many more. Beds were firm but I liked that, and everything felt quality! Some furnishings weren't exactly like the photo quality on listing, but honestly that’s expected since I’m sure photos were from when it was first established as a rental. Super friendly and helpful and responsive hosts!! Nice handy man too. It’s walkable although I would recommend a golf cart. We had a great week!

Loved every minute of our stay. The home was incredible and met all our needs.

This is the perfect house for a large family with kiddos! There are plenty of beds for everyone and space to spread out and be comfortable. The adults were able to relax and the kids had an absolute blast!! I would highly recommend this place for your family vacation.

It was a beautiful home with just a few minor issues which I communicated to Derek and he responds fairly quickly!! You can hear the waves and see the water. It’s close to everything!! The beds were comfortable!! Plenty of blankets and pillows!! I would come back again!!

Absolutely wonderful experience! Derek was very helpful and always responded quickly. Instructions were clear and easy to follow. We had the best time and loved the home we chose, we will definitely be staying here again!

The pictures do not do this house justice. It is absolutely amazing!!! Our family loved every minute of this 4 day trip. We had plenty of space for us in the kitchen and around the table. We used the grill, the games, the boys went crabbing in the canal, watched movies, cooked food and I cannot say enough about how wonderful the process was for the rental. The amenities were great and the golf cart was a game changer. We will be going back next year!!!

Beautiful home secluded from highway. Walking distance to and from beach. Derek was very responsive and helpful. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay even though we didn’t utilize all of the listed amenities. Our kids loved the bunk room, even though they cuddled up and slept on the couch. We are already planning our stay here for our 2025 family vacation. ♥️

Derek’s place was comfortable, clean, and highly inviting to my family and friends. We enjoyed every moment of our stay, and we made priceless memories. We appreciate Derek for opening his facility to us, and we’re already looking forward to the next time!

Derek place was beautiful. The rooms were very spacious and furnished nicely. Derek was very respectful and responsive to my concerns about keys, lock boxes and I appreciate his patience with my concern with some of areas. Its very close to the beach which was awesome. The convenience of the golf cart was amazing. I only have 2 cons. #1 I in photos of backyard (my perspective) I thought the yard was bigger and fire pit was further back, but with that being said still its was a great space. The 2nd con was some of the areas of the house needed a little more dusting. I will point out Derek very kindly offered to have a cleaning team come back to the house. I declined. My family and I enjoyed the stay. I hope we are welcome back again.

This place is amazing the only thing that made it a little difficult is that we had our elderly parents with us and they had to climb stairs .wish there was a elevator to help accommodate the older folks ,but other then that's the place is amazing.will recommend

This home is elegant and so beautiful. Extra clean linen, golf cart for beach riding and simply elegant.

We came to celebrate my husband birthday with family. He really enjoyed sitting on the top deck watching and listening to the ocean. there was plenty of seating on all three levels. The kids and grandparents loved making smores on the fire pit. It was a short walk to the beach. the mom's enjoyed sitting on the beach at sunrise. neighbors and beach goers were very friendly. there was lots of space to spread out and enjoy. the senior citizens spent mooring coffee and afternoons on the lower deck and patio. the kitchen was a chefs dream. great attention to detail was given to t the entire home. note- bring bug repellent. mosquitos are fulltime gulf of Mexico residents. lol. everyone can't wait to come back again.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at a beautiful home Airbnb by the beach, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The location was perfect, offering stunning ocean views and easy access to the beach. The home itself was immaculate, tastefully decorated, and equipped with all the amenities one could need for a comfortable stay. The hosts were incredibly hospitable and responsive, ensuring that every aspect of our stay was seamless. From the cozy bedrooms to the well-appointed kitchen, every detail was thoughtfully considered. We especially enjoyed the outdoor patio area, which was perfect for relaxing and watching the sunset. Overall, this Airbnb exceeded our expectations in every way. It provided a peaceful and rejuvenating retreat, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a memorable beachside getaway.

Amazing home! Safe spot! Quiet area. We loved it so much we extended our stay right before checkout, lol!! Was perfect for my 3 little ones under 12! The set up of multiple bunk beds was my favorite!!! We definitely look forward to staying again! They were responsive to my concerns and questions. Checked in often. Absolute best stay for me so far through Airbnb!! Book if you have the chance, you won’t be let down!!

The house was very nice with a beautiful veiw! You could see the ocean from the balcony. It accommodated our family very well! It was a very close walk to the beach but the golf cart was a plus since we had 6 children with lots of beach toys. I would stay there again!

I’ve rented in Crystal Beach a few times, but this was the best. I can’t say enough good things about this home and Derek and Lauren. Great location and just beautiful house. Room for everyone and the finishes are stunning. My kids and I spent the week and had an amazing time. Derek responded quickly with instructions and answers to any questions. We will definitely be back.

Excellent accommodation for a family or friend group. Each bedroom has its own bathroom. It felt like home from the moment we walked in the door. Beautiful neutral finishes. Layout and design was spectacular. The hosts were great, accessible and have taken the time to furnish the home with everything one would ever need for a wonderful beach holiday. We would stay here again!

This house was the most beautiful place I've had the privilege of staying on Bolivar Peninsula! The finishes, color scheme, and lighting really make this feel like a step above a beach house. In addition, the space was laid out perfectly to host multiple people. The convenience of two fridges was just an added benefit when having a large group. Derek & Lauren were extremely easy to get in contact with - we had a minor hiccup and they went above and beyond to remedy the issue. I can't say enough good things about the house or hosts. We had the best time and will definitely be back!

Awesome location to the beach! Host was very responsive and addressed a few minor issues we had at arrival. House was exactly like photos and a great layout for our family vacation. Kids loved the bunk beds. We loved there were full bathroom with each room. The deck was great because you could still see the beach even though we were not beach front. Check-in and check-out was very easy and seamless. We thought golf cart was included with rental, but it is an additional charge and separate agreement; which wasn't a big deal for us since the house was walkable to the beach. We will definitely book again!

This house was just what we hoped it would be. Everything was updated, clean and beautiful. I loved the high ceilings and tall doorways. There was a lot of storage space. My grandsons loved the bunk room and the game room. It was a nice 5 minute walk to the beach. We all had to have showers after the beach excursion, and I was afraid there wouldn't be enough hot water but it never ran out. Derek and Lauren were always so helpful whenever I asked a question! I would recommend staying here if you ever get the chance.

Gorgeous home and short walk or golf cart ride to the beach! We loved having ample space and bathrooms for our family to enjoy our trip. Bring mosquito spray because the rains and recent tropical storms have caused an influx of mosquitos! Derek and Lauren were quick to respond to any questions or things we needed.

Great home close to the beach that it almost felt like we had private access. Great neighborhood, calm, and respectful neighbors. The activities provided were the go to for the kids and adults. The views from the third floor were amazing and incomparable to anything I could describe.

We just stayed at this great home. It was spacious, clean and had amazing amenities. The 2 refrigerators were a life savior. The Game room with pool table and games for the kids was great for keeps all our kids occupied and entertained when we were not at the beach which was just a short walk away. We had multiple families staying together and there was a bed for everyone. This was a fantastic vacation home.

The listing is accurately posted. The house is easy to get to with stores, gas stations, shopping near by as well as very close beach access. While I did not test out every bed - sleeps over 20, I must say the beds and bedding are first class! High dollar memory foam beds. Exquisite fixtures throughout...chandeliers, bathroom lighting etc. There are two (yes 2) large fridges with ice makers - saving us $100's of dollars not having to buy ice all of the time. Very nice deck as well as being able to use the chairs/umbrellas/beach towels provided is a big plus for me. The large under house slab area offered room for the golf, corn hole and socializing. The grill is another plus. We did not utilize the outdoor fire pit, but it was there for us to use if we wanted. Another big plus; the AC - it worked perfectly w/o an issues. This can be a BIG problem if you rent a home and the AC goes out!!! The garage allowed us to keep all of our beach gear safe and out of the elements!

We very much enjoyed our stay! The house is beautiful and worked great for our 3 families of 12 people. The kitchen had everything that we needed. We liked having two refrigerators and a washer and dryer. The kids enjoyed their area and played lots of pool. We didn't end up using the golf area and didn't stay by the fire pit for long due to mosquitoes. The walk to the beach is an easy 5 minutes. We liked having 4 showers for 12 people, we had plenty of towels. The beds were comfy and the sheets were nice. We did have connectivity issues with the WiFi on and off throughout the week, not sure why. We felt at home all week.

Derek’s place is impeccable!! Clean and fresh like I wish every place was. Spaces were as described and had lots of things to do! Kitchen is pretty well stocked with great counter space and so are the bathrooms. Just a quick walk to the beach as well. I will say the TV’s are a bit challenging and we couldn’t find a few remotes but we didn’t really care. I would definitely stay here again and recommend to anyone! 10/10

This was a family vacation to celebrate my daughter's 5th birthday. There were 8 adults, 12 kids (4 under 2). Pros- Lovely upscale clean home Great location- 5 min walk to beach Nice view - you can see the beach and hear it . Host was responsive Fun games- putt putt, connect 4 , pool table Cons- Not baby /toddler friendly. No dishes/cups/utensils that were unbreakable, light colored furniture Not enough blankets /bath towels for our crew. Luckily some people brought their own. I feel as though if you advertise it can hold 22 people, there should be enough amenities for 22 people . Water shut off valve not labeled. Water to house was accidentally shut off (it was attached to a hose that was used and then turned off) . After much chaos, we figured out what happened and it was fixed. Internet password did not work- the one listed on the fridge nor the one provided in the house manual No paper copy of house manual- only digital Early check in (by 1 or 2hrs) was available for a fee

The place was BEAUTIFUL and so clean! It was the perfect set up for a group vacay. Our kids didn’t want to leave bc they loved the pool table and hanging on the patio. Would highly recommend and hope to stay again!

Fantastic beach house close to the beach access with good views of the beach. Tastefully designed and well thought out. Plenty of space for the whole family. There is construction of a new beach house across the road, however that is out of Derek’s control. Derek was responsive whenever we needed anything. Would definitely recommend.

Derek & Lauren were amazing hosts! Super friendly and accommodating. Their home was super beautiful and homey. We all enjoyed our stay from the relaxing porch chairs, playing connect four, playing pool to going to the beach. All the kids raved it was the best Easter they’ve had and didn’t want to leave.

Everything at the house was perfect! My three boys loved the game room upstairs as well as putting green on the lower level. The kitchen was well equipped with everything we needed! The house is absolutely gorgeous and was our favorite part of our spring break trip to Texas!

Lovely house! Everything was so clean, the layout was nice and it was stocked with all of the necessary utilities and more. The experience here was amazing and the proximity to the Big Store and the beach was great. Honestly the house was cute and comfy we barely even wanted to leave it! Only additional comment is that there are no blinds or curtains in the living room area (which is made mostly of glass) so it gets a bit scary to have the lights on when the sun goes down. A few curtains should b a perf fix. Overall the experience was flawless, great communication w the owners as well! totally recommend

This house was amazing and very well kept! The beds were very comfortable, and all the rooms were spotless. Tucked away in a quite neighborhood for the time of the year we throughly enjoyed our stay and are looking forward to booking again!

Derek and Lauren are great hosts! They are very responsive and accommodating. The home is spectacular! The interior designer gets an A+! There is plenty of space for everyone. The kids enjoyed the hockey/pool table, board games and sleeping in a different bunk bed every night. Great for families and a 2 minute walk to the beach. Highly recommend! We are already planning another visit!
