Was absolutely perfect for our annual girls trip!! We had so much fun and the perfect amount of space for all of us. So much counter space and fridge space, comfy beds, awesome pool and hot tub. Even got to enjoy the fire pit. Would definitely stay here again with a large group!

A beautiful house offering almost the perfect stay! Positive: The house was beautiful and convenient for all guests offering a bathroom in each room and a half bath as well. The outdoor seating area was perfect for our gathering. There was ample space in the kitchen and living room and the refrigerator had plenty of room for all our needs. The setup of the house was convenient as well allowing space between rooms and multiple exits. Wonderful house all around. Negative: We paid for an early arrival. Upon arrival we noticed the pool was green. Shortly after arrival, the cleaning crew returned. There was miscommunication and we had to exit the pool so that it could be cleaned and we had to move indoors so that the patio could be cleaned with a blower and the grill could be cleaned as well. The pool needed to be shocked because of algae (what we were told) and we were not able to use it until the following morning. The owners did refund our early check in fee and also paid for us to park at the river to spend the afternoon there instead. This gesture was greatly appreciated, but for the cost per night of the house, we feel these were things that could have been avoided if there had not been miscommunication between the cleaning crew and if the pool had been shocked the previous day seeing as there had not been anyone staying in the house the night before. The yard was also not cut. Again, something that could have been done prior to the arrival. Overall, we were able to work around the inconveniences, but again, for the cost of the rental, these are things that should be corrected prior to arrival.

We had a great time! This house has so much space! Loved the hot tub & pool. The location was perfect - between Garner State Park & Concan Swim Hole. The home has plenty of pots/pans, coffee, towels, bedding. It was a beautiful view, quiet & peaceful.

We had been looking for a place big enough for our entire family! This place is perfect! We swam, we played volleyball and lots of games. We held our annual family Memorial weekend Olympics! There is lots of room for great outdoor activities! The kitchen is fabulous for preparing meals, the outdoor kitchen is also wonderful for grilling. The large restaurant size refrigerator is exactly what we needed! We had planned to explore town but we were having too much fun so we never left the house! Our kids, all adults now have decided we need to come back and have a no kids weekend soon!

Four couples stayed at Adelante for three days. The house was perfect with large gathering spaces and private bedrooms and bathrooms for each couple. We spent time both indoors and outside just hanging out and for meals. The location was convenient to Garner State Park, the Frio, and restaurants. Derek and Michelle were very responsive hosts. The info they provided on the house and the area was super helpful. We’ll definitely stay at Adelante if we return to the Concan area!

This was our first big family trip / Air BnB. Derek and Lauren were friendly, accommodating, and provided excellent customer service. The property was clean and very well kept. Kudos to his maintenance crew. Derek provided us with high chairs and pack n’ plays for the two babies on our trip. Both were clean and safe for our little ones. What ever minor issues or needs we had were met in a timely and effective manner. We enjoyed the large kitchen and commercial fridge. Our family had an incredible time at this property. The location is excellent for nearby shopping, convenience store, access to Frio two minutes up the road, and 15 mins from Garner State Park. If you want to stay on the property the outdoor kitchen and outdoor area will keep everyone busy and satisfied. Communication with Derek was excellent and timely. We never felt like we waited too much or were inconvenienced with anything. Excellent job to Lauren and Derek for creating a peaceful and comfortable experience for us.

This home is rare find for an off season stay and I bet phenomenal during river season. The home was huge but still cozy and the backyard area was perfect for gathering.

We celebrate Thanksgiving every other year at a Texas state park and this year it was Garner and Lost Maples. Derek and Lauren’s home was a perfect setting and location for our family. They also had a tree up which made it festive for our Christmas exchange too. Very spacious home with a great kitchen setup for cooking and serving and the refrigerator space held our meals and beverages for three days with room left over. We used the yard for volleyball, kickball, and roasting marshmallows in the fire pit. A wonderful space for your family gathering.

This property in Concan, Texas, was the perfect getaway for our 5th Annual Girls’ Trip! With 13 of us, we had more than enough space to relax and enjoy ourselves. Each bedroom having its own bathroom was a huge plus, offering both privacy and convenience. The hot tub was a favorite spot for catching up with the girls, and the pool was so refreshing after our hike at nearby Garner State Park. We loved watching the deer roam the property day and night—it really added to the peaceful, Hill Country vibe. The layout of the home was ideal, providing plenty of privacy in the bedrooms while the common areas were great for group hangouts. Derek was a fantastic host, regularly checking in to ensure we were comfortable and had everything we needed. This is such a great place to stay with 5 couples!!! Every bedroom has its own bathroom which is absolutely phenomenal when traveling in a group. We come every year on our motorcycles. The house is perfect & I love how we don’t have to bring linens or towels like other Airbnbs in the area. We’ll be back next year!!!

My family of 15 (4 teenagers, 2 preteens, a toddler and 8 adults ranging from 2-70 yrs old) had an amazing time celebrating my Dad’s 70th birthday. We spend lots of time cooking inside and out. We had all the tools we needed, even to bake a cake! The rooms were perfect and having a private full bathroom in each room was AMAZING. I truly believe its one of the reasons we had such a smooth trip! Lol The pool was beautiful and the hot tub easy to use. We had a volleyball tournament and made s’mores one night. 5 mins to 7 bluffs crossing and 15 mins to Garner State Park. The details in the home made it unique and beautiful and we saw at least 10 deer and other wild animals during our stay which made it quite an experience! Everyone had an awesome time! I recommend taking trash bags and your own shampoo. They provide both, but the shampoos are tiny for more than 1 day & we went through trash like crazy! It was nice they had daily pick up. Highly recommend this place! Excellent experience!

We had a strange situation on the day of check out and Derek was so gracious and accommodating. He was very responsive the entire trip. I would rent here again!

We like to get out of the city often and try different places but this one was one of our favorite places to stay! Definitely will come back again!

Great place to stay, about 10 minutes away from Gardner State Park & many other nearby lakes. Local food was surprisingly good & all basic amenities were provided for your short term stay. Beautiful scenery & privacy.

We rented this property for a reunion of four families. We all agreed that we had a really great time. The property is gorgeous. We have plenty of spaces to hang around, for kids and adults. We used the pool (heated) and hot tub a lot. The firepit is a hit for smores and volleyball court is a definitely a plus. The kitchen and refrigerator are spacious, allowing our group to cook all of our meals during the stay. We appreciated the bathroom in every bedroom for each family privacy. The communication with the host is excellent, always prompt responses. We truly had a great time and enjoyed this property a lot, wouldn't hesitate to come back if we are in the area!

Our stay was great? Beautiful location, River was down so not much water in it. The house was very nice. We had problem with the hot tub but owner Derick replied immediately and the heater could not be fixed until after our stay. The bathroom showers in all rooms could be cleaner one had a wasp nest in it and the liner shower curtains were dirty on the bottoms. Some showers drained slow. Overall it was a Great Stay.

We love the floor plan of the house, it was great. Very friendly for a big family like ours, and the location was very nice. The only thing that would have made it nicer is the cleanliness of the kitchen; coffee makers, dishes, utensils, etc. But not a deal breaker for us because they are easily washable so we would definitely come back.

The house was amazing! Plenty to do without having to leave the house. Pool, hot tub, shuffle board, volleyball net, fire pit and my favorite was the outside kitchen with propane grill but you also had the option to use their charcoal grill was well. My family loved that every room has its own full restroom. The home had everything you need to enjoy a worry free stay!!!

We brought a basketball team to play in a tournament and the property was great. So much cleaner than your average hotel/motel. If you have a large group and want a great place to stay, this is the property for you.

Very impressed with this home and the attention to details. When you walk into the home the first thing you notice is how open and gorgeous the home is. The kitchen is fully stocked with pots and pans and anything you need for cooking and serving. We really appreciated the extra coffee pots and Keurig as we had a large group with different coffee tastes. The bedrooms are split 2 on one side of the house and 3 on the other and each bedroom has a private bathroom. It was so nice to have that extra privacy. I saved the best for last, the outdoor space! I cannot say enough of how absolutely perfect it is. Right as you walk out the back door you are under a huge spacious covered patio that has a 8 chair dining area, a patio sofa set and table, and a bar to sit at. The bar/outdoor kitchen was very nice and clean. If there was one thing I would recommend it would be a bigger ice machine, but even that was not a huge deal because at the end of the street is a very convenient drive thru barn that has drinks and ice. There were multiple sitting areas outside, our favorite was the fire pit area. It is perfect for making smores with the kiddos or sitting in the comfy adirondak chairs relaxing and looking at the stars. We never had to leave the property because the pool was a perfect way to beat the heat. Of note, the pool has easy access if you have someone in your group that needs help entering.Do yourself a favor and book Adelante,I promise you it will be your favorite vacation rental!

It’s a beautiful, updated home in a nice, quiet neighborhood. All the amenities you could hope for and more!! Hot tub was awesome. We made s’mores in the fire pit, did hamburgers on the grill. All appliances and cookware you could need. The beds were great! Lots of space for family and fun. Really nice hosts! Garner State Park down the road was great for our boys. We will stay again!

Derek's place was an absolutely fantastic stay. It's PERFECT for large group getaways to the Texas hill country. I highly recommend this place for your large group trip, and we will certainly keep Derek in mind for our next team trip. We booked a weekend for our sports team for a nice team getaway. We had an absolutely great time and a flawless experience. Derek provided a handy link to the house instructions which was especially handy because I could send the link around to all my teammates. The handy guide included directions, check-in instructions, house rules, house amenities, places to eat, and things to do. It cut down on the amount "Hey what's the wifi password!?!?" The house itself is large, spacious, and well decorated. The kitchen includes 2 coffee makes, plenty of counter space and a HUGE commercial fridge. Perfect for large groupsThe pool, hot tub, and grill were easy to use. The surroundings are scenic. Everything was spotlessly clean.

We had 7 adults, 5 children, and 1 infant and we had more than enough space to spread out. There were plenty of linens, towels, etc. for everyone. The open kitchen, dining and living room areas were the perfect place for us to gather. The kitchen was well stocked with cookware and dishes for our meals. The outdoor space was incredible. The kiddos spent a lot of time in the hot tub, and even took a plunge in the cold pool! We enjoyed playing volleyball, outdoor walks, and the firepit. We also took a short trip to the Frio to hike and explore. We had a wonderful time!

We booked Adelante House for our family’s Christmas gathering. The place was beautifully updated. The kitchen was amazing for a large family. There was plenty of room for everyone. We all wanted to watch the game together and Derek, the host, graciously allowed us to get in early so we could be set up for kickoff. We had a great holiday together. There was a beautiful covered patio. The pool, and hot tub were heated! We all had a great time and the house was very comfortable. Very close to the Frio River too. We saw Turkey, Axis, and Whitetail. We’ll definitely be coming back to Adelante in the summer. Nice place.
