This place was amazing! My family really enjoyed this home! It’s in a perfect location & perfect walking distance from the beach! This place is perfect for a family vacation! This home was perfect for our family of 5! My kids enjoyed this home for their 10th & 5th birthday celebration! It has a grill on site if you wish to use! Best part they give you the option to reserve their golf cart! Saves you the hassle of calling around for the perfect price( their price was amazing) best part of all was check out! Like my mom always says ( leave things how you found them) He was an amazing host as well! Answered fast any questions I had. Will be definitely booking again!

The beach house was great! My entire family enjoyed themselves. Super close to the beach and an outdoor shower with very hot water! The house included all the amenities you will need. Highly recommend!

Derek is a great host! This is my third or fourth time booking with him and I definitely will be coming back again! His homes are always so nice and clean, he provides clear great instructions and we almost never have any questions!

Great house just few min walk from the beach, very comfortable and nicely decorated. Kitchen has all you need! Including coffee, salt, pepper and olive oil. That was a nice touch! The inflatable hot tub made the vacation even more fun. Derek was very responsive to messages and they had a welcome website that helped to understand everything about the house.

We will be back. There is a lot of thought into making this a great space for families to enjoy. Host is responsive and organized. We love a well thought out home! Beach is RIGHT THERE. They have a nice view despite not being right on the beach.

We had a great stay. The place was clean and well kept. We were able to walk to the beach every day and enjoyed the hot tub. The hosts were very responsive and kind whenever we needed anything. We would do it again!

First time to visit Bolivar with the family. The home was perfect for our family. We walked to the beach everyday, spent a day at NASA, and ate great seafood. Great spot for Easter Weekend! Super close to the beach walking or using golf cart. We did have a dishwasher maintenance problem but got it fixed in a couple of hours.

My family and I spent Christmas week at this house, the house was very clean and had everything you need from kitchenware, table games, mosquito repellent outdoors, things that you didn’t think you really need. The house is very spacious for party of 6. Derek was very helpful during our stay, his communication was top notch. What a lovely place.

Derek made every accommodation with the stay and schedule that I needed for my visit to Crystal Beach. Seamless communication. The house was immaculate and well maintained. Location to local amenities can’t be beat. If you’re looking for a comfortable, relaxing, clean getaway, this place and the owners make for an enjoyable experience. Highly recommend.

a good value Positive: The beds were comfortable, the hot water was plentiful. Location was great, you could see the gulf from the balcony. The golf cart was very handy and a good deal at only $195. Negative: There were only two wash cloths, we use a clean washcloth every shower. We found two cockroaches in the main bedroom, one dead, the other we had to chase down to kill. There is only one closet in the house. The bathrooms are in desperate need of updating. There was a moldy coffee filter left in the coffee maker. No dining room or table. Only a breakfast bar with saddle stools. There have been many, many charges to our credit card, not including the rental for the house or golf cart, All fell off eventually, but I don't know what they were for. Nothing we couldn't handle. A trip to Walmart in Galveston fixed all the little issues.

We had a great girls' weekend! There were lots of great things to do, the recommendations they made were spot on, and overall just very relaxing.

Just perfect three bedroom beach house with beautiful furnishings, clean and plenty of towels provided. Just a hop and skip to the beach, maybe 800 feet. We rented the golf cart from the hosts and it worked great. The fire pit was a nice touch. We were able to relax, spends days in the beach and eat at local great restaurants that we have eaten at before. Derek was very friendly and responsive. We enjoyed our stay and will book again. It was my 17 year old granddaughter, her best friend and myself and our e if my best friends. We all enjoyed it.

This home was perfect for the Fourth of July week! It is directly on an access road to the beach, walking distance; the golf cart made it more convenient along with being able to drive our vehicles right down to the beach. We can easily say this stay “ felt like home,” we had everything we needed (full kitchen equipment, soaps, coffee, bags, the grill/fridge/bathroom outside, hot tub, golf cart ect) and it was just comfortable. The beds! So comfortable! We had two MINOR inconveniences during our stay that the owners would not have foreseen, this was taken care of IMMEDIATELY and they even compensated us accordingly. We appreciated the level of communication that the host kept with us even for the smallest things we may have asked for. Thank you so much! We hope to visit you again.

The house is beautiful and the perfect spot for a family! Host was very responsive and helpful. The beach is absolutely beautiful especially for a Texas beach. Takes 30 seconds on the golf cart. We went on a super busy week with it being a holiday and still found that we were mostly alone on the beach which was great. The town is very charming and much more quiet than Galveston. The donut shop is delicious and you can get all the groceries you need at the big store. Overall we had a wonderful time. Would definitely book with this host again.

My family and I had a wonderful stay! The house was literally a short walk from the beach, and made us feel right at home. There was plenty of towels for the beach, along with a golf cart. It was the perfect space for our little getaway. Derek & Lauren provided detailed instructions, and were very responsive. We can’t wait to come back.

You get a view of water from the balcony. Very nice. Response time for a small repair was quick. We rented the golf cart from the owners and it made it so convenient to get to beach. Derek’s place was a perfect location for quick access to the beach or quick access to the restaurants. The weather was not super ideal for enjoying the beach all day long, but there was plenty of things to do at the house to keep us entertained from relaxing in the hot tub, swinging on the deck, or playing corn hole on the pavement down stairs. Derek's place was perfect for our group of five - close to the ocean, lots of room, and the kitchen had everything we needed and more. It was great to cook in a kitchen that had ample pots and pans, utensils, and even a large assortment of staple spices. And an ice maker! And two kinds of coffee pots (yay)!! Entry was easy, however the door locking mechanism was a bit tricky from the inside, so definitely watch the Youtube he sends with check-in; it is super helpful, and explains this cool feature. Derek was very kind and always responded quickly when I needed something. He has a beautiful home. We really enjoyed being able to use the golf cart and taking rides on the beach. I made it so much easier to get to the beach. It is a very short ride to the beach. We had a great view of the beach from the house.

This place is fantastic! It housed our family of 6 very comfortably! The hosts were wonderful and very responsive. The amenities are perfect and the views outstanding. Upon returning to Crystal Beach, we will definitely strive to stay here again. Pro tip: opt for the golf cart!

Derek was a great host, we loved the house and it was so clean and peaceful in and out of the house and the basement was so pretty. Ocean sounds were so calming, very private. Extremely responsive host, friendly. Would definitely recommend their place and would be back here when visiting Galveston.

The home was beautiful just what our gals weekend was looking for and our favorite view to wake up in the morning was the beautiful beach! Derek is a great host and always responsive! The location of the house was the best pet close to the beach and walkable around the subdivision as well as close to gas stations if needed. As soon as we arrived we told our families that we made a great decision for our much needed gals weekend- ty !

Very nice home, love the location in its own little beach town. Easy walk to the beach from the house. House very clean inside, bed very comfy, furniture comfy also! My husband & I are retired so when we booked the house it was a last minute trip! We will be back!
