The property is GREAT! The property people are AMAZING! We will definitely be back! Positive: We stayed in this house in 2024 and loved it so much, we booked it again for 2025! Negative: The washer was broken. The property had 2 people come out to fix it but they ended up having to order a part. They REALLY tried to correct the issue as soon as possible! They did compensate us for the inconvenience!

We loved our stay here! The location was perfect — just a quick ride to the beach, and having the golf cart made it so easy to get back and forth. The front deck was one of our favorite spots to relax, especially in the evenings. The layout of the house worked so well for our family — the open-concept kitchen meant we could all hang out and talk while cooking and eating together. Having three showers was a huge bonus after long beach days — everyone could rinse off and get ready quickly without waiting. It was a wonderful stay and such a great home base for our beach vacation!

My husband, myself, and children absolutely loved this house! The kids took advantage of the small hot tub downstairs and we all took the golf cart to the beach. We had a lovely weekend stay on Crystal Beach in one of Derek’s places. We felt right at home. The place was comfortable and clean and so close to the beach. The golf cart was so much fun and convenient for us as well. I will definitely be looking at his other listings so I can book next weekend. Derek also responded very fast when I needed him for something. I would 100% recommend booking with him.

It was a beautiful location within walking distance to the beach. The porch with the views of the ocean was my favorite spot, but my teens preferred the hammock.

Our stay at Derek’s was absolutely perfect! We enjoyed the available golf cart and the short walk to the beach. We loved the front porch for evening drinks and morning coffee. It was peaceful and the neighborhood was extremely friendly. The kitchen was well stocked with the essentials that one would need and the bathrooms were very nice! Good water pressure is always a plus!! The hammock under the porch was relaxing for an afternoon nap. We throughly enjoyed our stay and will be booking again!

As a family of 5 we went down for 6 days and we couldn’t have had a better time. The location of the house, the house itself, and the host were absolutely amazing. We had some issues with some appliances and Derek immediately had someone out to fix them. We will be staying here again in the future! When I planned our trip to Crystal Beach I looked at over 15 bnb's and narrowed it down. What Stood out at Derek's was the location and the golf cart package! Derek's home was even nicer than the photos! They had everything we needed to feel right at home. The home was close enough to the beach we could walk. And having the convenience of the golf cart was amazing to help take our items to the beach. My family enjoyed evening golf cart rides as well! Derek had outdoor toys as well as a few boogie boards and other play items. There is a nice view of the beach as well that we enjoyed all day. Highly recommend Derek's place. We will probably be back next year!

Great location, right on the beach access road! The house was super clean and decorated beautifully. We loved the hot tub, and use of the golf cart! The wrap around porch was wonderful - we got to watch a thunderstorm and stay perfectly dry and comfortable. We would def stay here again.

We stayed a month and felt at home. Everything was provided as offered, and Derek was a fantastic, responsive host. The bed in the bedroom was SO comfortable, and I'm 52 with back problems (so that's saying something!)! Since we visited the beach in winter, we got some winter weather, but overall it was fun. VERY close to the beach! I would lease here again in a heartbeat!

I mean where do I start! The home is gorgeous when I think of being by the ocean and the reason I came the house gave it all too me! The decor was perfect I couldn’t ask for anything else the rooms where great, beds had me sleep in minutes . I have an autistic son and he usually wants to be by me at all times, I want to really thank you all for the hospitality, thoughtfulness, scenery, and amazing communication!!! It was on the perfect spot me and my older son heard the dolphins!! You can hear the ocean so peaceful. The home came with everything for you to be comfortable entertained! This place was very beautiful with great amenities. The host was super helpful with any questions and provided clear instructions proactively about how to utilize some of the amenities. I highly recommend additional golf cart rental for your stay as it is parked in the garage and easily accessible. We definitely would love to come back here!

Derek and Lauren’s home was breathtaking. We saw the ocean in the driveway and were within a 2 minute walk to the beach. This place was great me and my family loved it check in and getting into the place was super easy and straightforward it was really clean and all stated amenities were provided only even slightly bad thing to say would be the hot tub was slightly smaller then expected but it was still great Derek was always responsive in a moments notice and had no real problems or complaints all in all would love to stay here again

We were very happy with the home. The house was very cozy and had everything that we could have needed. It was also very clean and completely ready for us when we arrived with and invite on the tv and a letter from the host on the counter. The host was very accommodating with good and clear instructions for check in and out. It came with a golf cart if we wanted but it was just a short walk right onto the beach. I have stayed in several places and would highly recommend this location!

This rental exceeded my expectations. It was immaculately cleaned and beautifully decorated. As an active duty service member, I have stayed at air bnb’s all over the world. This property, the host etc were by far my absolute favorite. The host was available 24/7 and extremely responsive. This home lacked nothing. It was beautiful, serene and exactly what my family needed to relax, and take a break from the city. I truly hope to return here again. This was one of the most beautiful homes we had seen in the area. Thank you for an amazing vacation/ experience.

When Derek found out that our previous lodging had fallen through, he immediately reassured our tired family with early check-in and a personalized welcome. I can’t say enough wonderful things about this rental!!First of all, Derek was kind and quick to respond with any questions I had before we even arrived. Check in was simple and we were in awe of all the extra touches.There were even throw pillows and blankets draped over the patio chairs for us.When we entered the code and opened the door, it smelled amazing.Lights were on and it was the perfect temperature.We were blown away with how gorgeous the interior was.The decor was like something out of a magazine.The home was spotless and well stocked.Derek checked in once we arrived to make sure we were good.We rented their golf cart and spent lots of time riding down the beach collecting seashells.View from balcony was great and we could even hear the waves!Kitchen was well stocked and the abundant coffee cups for the Keurig was perfect for the winter weather. “WOW!”, is the best way to describe this place! I am a regular Airbnb user and I can honestly say, this is one of the nicest places we have ever stayed. Not only does it have an elegant coastal decor, very comfortable beds and linens, and a great location, the hosts also have very nice “extras” that really elevate your stay (well stocked coffee bar, lots of seasonings for cooking, toiletries in each shower, a relaxing hot tub, and a hot/cold, private outdoor shower). We also included their golf cart in our rental and it is luxurious as well, with plush seats and a stereo 😀! All this just a brief stroll to the beach! From the large porch, there is a great view of the shore and you can even hear the waves. Very easy check in and an unusually SHORT check out list! 🙌🏽 I am so glad I found this place and so grateful they have listed it! Needless to say, I highly recommend this beautiful home. 🤩⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️🤩

Derek and Lauren are amazing hosts. The property is absolutely beautiful and the area is amazing! Our 2 and 3 year old kids had a lot of fun. They loved the beach and finding sea shells there, they enjoyed the hot tub, and sleeping in the bunk beds. But, their favorite part is taking the ferry to Galveston. The vacation was definitely what we were looking for and more. Thanks to Derek and Lauren for having us. I definitely recommend them as hosts.
