Derek and Lauren's place is beautiful and provided lots of space to celebrate a memorable Concan birthday weekend for our group of 25. They were very responsive to our requests and questions. I appreciate them taking my feedback for the benefit of future guests. I recommend this "Tulum" inspired house for its awesome amenities, layout, and location!

Dereck is an amazing host and his place is great! The location of this property is convenient and very safe. The house is amazing, spacious, clean, and comfortable. We had an amazing time at Dereck’s place.

The house is amazingly beautiful inside and out. Everything was nice and clean, and even smelled very nice and clean. There was a couple of minor concerns that were addressed immediately, Dereck was very responsive to our needs. Nice and spacious theater room with a popcorn machine! Kept our children very entertained. Layout of the house is perfect for family gatherings. Pool and hot tub were a definite plus! Lots to do, beautiful morning runs, nice evening walks, river access is almost in the back yard, about 2 miles to the Frio, about 5-6 miles to Magers crossing. We even had friendly visitors from the wild, a skunk, raccoons, and deer galore! We will definitely be back. Thank you Dereck for your kind hospitality.

We had a fabulous time at Derek and Lauren’s house! Our whole family (aged 11-81) had plenty of opportunities to visit and interact when they wanted to, but also had their own peaceful retreat in the huge bedrooms with private baths that were accessible to our less mobile, elderly parents. The younger kids played in the pool all day! I loved having the attached hot tub, cabanas, and the large windows overlooking the pool which made it so easy to keep an eye on the kids. The theater room was a huge hit as well! The bunkhouse was incredible! The house has a fabulous floor plan and is perfectly furnished and equipped for your stay. You won’t find better hosts or property! Highly recommend!

This stay was absolutely perfect for our family getaway! The home was not only clean and beautifully designed, but it was also packed with fun and entertainment for all ages. The theatre room was a huge hit—we had movie nights every evening and it felt like our own private cinema. The pool was crystal clear and well-maintained, and the kids had an amazing time swimming and playing. There were tons of thoughtful touches throughout the house to keep the little ones entertained, which made it easy for the adults to relax too. The host was friendly, responsive, and made everything seamless from start to finish. We’re already talking about coming back—highly recommend!

The house was absolutely perfect! Right when we walked in, we were in awe at the space and the cleanliness of the home. The house smelled amazing! The rooms were perfect for our party of 15 and the teens really enjoyed hanging out in the theater room. The home had everything we needed and Derek was very accommodating and responsive. You will not be disappointed in this house and we will gladly stay again in the future!

The home was beyond beautiful & we felt right at home. It is perfectly set to host a large family like mine with no concerns whatsoever. We really enjoyed our stay. We have been coming to Concan for 25+ years it’s my children’s second home. We celebrated Mother’s Day, a high school graduation, college graduation, 19th birthday and Army basics send off for our 3 sons +1 girlfriend and the accommodations were perfect for our party of 9. Just as described, our family truly enjoyed this beautiful home. Everything was immaculate & was more than enough space for everyone to enjoy. It provided everything we could possibly need & the pool/hot tub along with the theater room were an added bonus. Derek & Lauren were very attentive & responsive to our needs. We enjoyed every minute of our stay. The house was perfect. We had a large group and you couldn’t even tell because of how big the place is. This is a really beautiful and fun property for families and large groups. Derek and Lauren were excellent hosts! The pool and hot tub was relaxing. The kids enjoyed swimming and they loved the theatre room with the popcorn machine. The space throughout this Airbnb is immense. There is towels galore for the pool area. The link to the home manual is very convenient as it guides you on how to prepare for arrival, directions on how to get there, things to do in the area, and instructions before departure. The home manual also provides instructions for the hot tub, theater, fan remotes, A/C, and Keurig coffee maker. They really think of everything that could make your experience blissful.

Our stay at Derek and Lauren’s vacation home in Concan, TX, was absolutely perfect! We had an incredible stay at this Airbnb . The spacious rooms, each with their own bathrooms, were a huge plus for our large group. Check-in was easy, and the home was clean and stocked with everything we needed to cook for the group. Dereck was an amazing host; he checked in occasionally to ensure our stay was going well. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the theater room was great for karaoke. We truly enjoyed the patio and pool area. I highly recommend this home and hope to visit again in the future.

We had a wonderful time at Tullum! The house accommodated our families and teens really well. Everything was lovely and we thoroughly enjoyed the fire pit and pool area. The location was great- close to the river, the dance halls and concert venues etc. We have travelled with two other families during spring break for five years straight visiting places like Utah, Rosemary Beach, Nashville etc. This home was in our top 2 SB rentals! We loved our stay!

We had a great time! The space was perfect for a large group of people and was able to accommodate everyone comfortably. The theatre room was one of our favorites and we enjoyed playing many of the provided indoor and outdoor games. Highly recommend for anyone looking to enjoy a peaceful getaway with everything you need for a comfortable stay!

Derek was really nice and friendly. We felt right at home. This home was clean, spacious and had everything available. Derek was always responsive with any questions or concerns. We recommend this listing to anyone that’s looking for friendly gatherings especially with children because the pool is an excellent addition the kids loved! Thank you for a being wonderful host!

I recently stayed at one of Derek and Lauren’s homes. They were both very friendly and responsive with any questions we had. My first impressions of house was that it was well kept, clean, and had a fun homey feel to it. It had plenty of things to do to keep everyone in our party entertained. We were able to stay in the pool much longer than we anticipated as we had the option to heat the pool which was great since it did get chilly at night when we went. The theater room was very spacious and allowed some people to watch a movie while others played a game on the table off to the side. All of the rooms and bathrooms were clean and the beds were comfortable. It was basically everything that you could hope for from an Airbnb! Overall great experience with the hosts and the house.

My friends and I only got to stay at this airbnb for one day, but we wish we could’ve stayed longer! It’s a very peaceful area with a great pool and cool movie theatre room. We would love to come back another time.
