We had an amazing stay at Three Little Birds this past weekend! The beach house was perfect for our end-of-summer family vacation. Located in Crystal Beach, it was just a short walk to the sand and waves, yet peaceful and quiet—exactly what we needed to relax and unwind. The home itself was clean, cozy, and had a very welcoming, homey feel. You can tell Derek and Lauren, the hosts, have put a lot of care into making this a special place. It’s also conveniently located—not far from Galveston, which made for an easy day trip. Thank you, Derek and Lauren, for sharing your beautiful beach house with us. We’ll definitely be back!

Three little birds was an absolute pleasure to stay at during our blended family vacation. We don’t have many opportunities to spend time together, as our older kids are adults, so finding a house that accommodates us all was vital. This house did just that. It’s warm, cozy, inviting, and all around just felt like HOME. My wife and I SLEPT so well in the master bedroom, and it was hard to get the kids out of bed; they just wanted to sleep. The deck area was peaceful, and the short ride to the beach on the golf cart was awesome and convenient. We had the best time here and plan to return again next year!

Great place! We stayed for a week and felt at home. Walked right to the beach every day. Stores and restaurants close by.

Easy to communicate with the owners they were very nice. The home was so clean and there were 11 girls with us and the blow dryer there saved the week!! Plenty of space to sleep and the beds were so comfy. The showers were amazing with endless hot water which we needed with 11 girls there. We’re so thankful for this experience and the view from the balcony was beautiful. The kitchen has lots of plates , cups and cooking utensils. The golf cart was perfect for taking rides down the beach and sunsets . I would come back here any day of the week. Thank you both for opening your home to us we will never forget this time we spent here .

Three Little Birds was a great place for a beach vacation. You can see the Gulf from the deck and it is close to the beach. Renting the golf cart was a great addition and made things extremely enjoyable and convenient. Overall, we really enjoyed the beach house and will come again in the future. My wife and I along with our 5 boys stayed here on vacation, we loved it! Having the bunk rooms with everyone having their own bed was great! The views were spectacular, the beach was a 5 minute walk, the host was very responsive if we needed to reach out and he had someone there in a timely fashion with the one small issue we did have! Our only complaint is that the vacation wasn’t long enough to enjoy this perfect house in the perfect location!

The house was in great condition and conveniently located close to the beach and stores in town. We stayed in early winter which is a fantastic time to visit. Our kids enjoyed the beach access and sleeping on the bunk beds. The host was very responsive to any questions or concerns and made sure everything was in good order. We would gladly stay at this location and with this host again.

The place was great. Me and my family had an awesome time. It felt so nice to relax and enjoy the star gazing at night. The oven did not work so we couldn't cook our Christmas dinner.

Derick was just a phone call or message away, didn’t get upset at all cause I couldn’t differentiate the lock boxes down stairs, lol. Super kind and answered all my questions. Reason being I am granny material and am not techy! Super comfortable home. Clean and homey! My sisters and my self had a wonderful time. I would recommend any place he had at the beach. He had everything we needed at our fingertips!! GREAT STAY!!!!

The house was as expected. Looked liked the advertised pictures. Great layout for groups with kids. Big kitchen with just about everything you would need. Definitely like having the air fryer and crockpot, those are always a nice touch. The house was at 82 upon arrival and heat was on but had plenty of time to cool down after briefly stopping in at check-in. The house smelled a bit musky. Luckily, there were spare air filters in the house to change the old one. May be time for a bug sprayer to come by, we did see a few roaches in the house. Unfortunately there was an incident that occurred that caused a few broken dishes on our part. Derek asked us to leave and we complied cutting our stay 3 days short. That was then followed up by a request to replace all the flatware in the house. I’d be more than happy to replace what was broken but not everything in your cabinets. No hard feelings, sorry for the mishap. Bad review me if you want. We cleaned the house to arrival condition.

This was a great place to stay we felt very comfortable. Location was amazing, walking distance to the beach and quiet neighborhood. I had my kids and we all felt very safe walking back and forth. The house has very comfortable sleeping arrangements and all the necessities you will need. Lots of towels, blankets and pillows if needed. The kitchen was perfect with anything you would need to cook just like home. There is also a BBQ grill we used and an outside fire pit that was nice after dark when it was a little cold. We had one issue with the internet and within minutes of sending a message it was taken care of. We would definitely recommend the host and house to future guests.

This was a great stay. Derek was a really good host, always responsive and very hospitable. Crystal Beach is a great getaway in the off-season. The weather was perfect and the beach was nice (our kids even got in the water in late December!). I would definitely recommend this place. The house was nice and clean. The space was very comfortable with a lot of amenities.

We had a wonderful time here. It was beautiful and a perfect weekend getaway. Our only regret was not bringing our whole family. The house had plenty of beds was very family friendly. Beautiful interior, washing machine, dryer, full kitchen. Had fire pit, bbq, swings, deck furniture. The beach is half a block away on a mellow street. Wouldn’t bat an eye letting my kids walk down there on their own. It was perfect. The price was the best around because the cleaning fee wasn’t equal to the overnight fee which was all we were finding in other houses. Our hosts were amazing and organized. We felt very spoiled. Would definitely visit again.
